Laughing

Sophie has been giving us some good belly laughs lately - which when you watch you can't help but laugh yourself. We just figured out how to download videos off of the video camera, so this one is actually from July 4th (as you'll notice from her festive outfit).

Tummy Time

Sophie doesn't seem to mind spending time on her tummy as much as she used to. Although, today she rolled over onto her stomach when she was napping, and was pretty pissed when she woke up because couldn't roll back over.
You can also tell in this picture how light her hair is getting. When the sun hits it it's almost auburn.

Bath time!Candice (Sophie's nanny) wouldn't let me get her bum in the picture - so now she's decent with a washcloth.

(Great) Mom Mom's 90th Birthday

On Saturday we went and visited Dave's Mom Mom - Sophie's great grandmother - for her 90th birthday. We brought some Tony Luke's from Philly and enjoyed lunch with the birthday girl.

Four Generations

Four Month Check-up

This morning Sophie had her 4 week check-up. She got her second round of immunizations and was not happy about it. She was also weighed and measured. A whopping 16lbs 6ozs, which puts her in the 95% for weight, and 25 1/8 inches long, which puts her in the 75% for height.

4th of July at the Beach

We spent the 4th of July weekend in Avalon. It was incredibly hot, but we still got in some good beach time. Unfortunately the water was freezing. We dipped Sophie's feet in, but she didn't like it too much. She much preferred to sit on her Nana's lap.

Sophie also rolled over for the first time this weekend! She's been struggling with getting her one arm out from under her, but finally was able to do it.
