Here I am at the end of my 29th week. All dressed up for a holiday party - but alas, about an hour after this picture was taken we were in a car accident and I spent the next 4 hours in the hospital hooked up to a fetal monitor. Fortunately all is well with us and the baby, just a precaution. We heard her moving around and even heard a few minutes of hickups.
Dave's parent's stopped by on Sunday and put in a few good hours of work helping Dave to put in the bamboo floor. The room is really starting to come together.
The guest room has officially begun the transformation to a nursery. Right now it's a construction zone, but will hopefully resemble something kid friendly in a few weeks.
Dave is putting in a custom closet (which will hopefully hold both baby and Jess' overflow clothes).
We spent the weekend down in Virginia and during the trip I finally started to feel some kicking. Dave was even able to feel a few kicks (although he kept thinking he was feeling me laughing, which I was).
Becky loved my stomach.
Sarah came to visit and we compared stomaches. She's due 3 weeks after me.
This morning we had our 24-week check-up. We got to listen to the baby's heartbeat, but no ultrasound for another 10 weeks. Everything sounds good and strong. I still haven't felt movement so Dave and I were both worried about that, but we were reassured that everything sounds fine - and hopefully I'll feel something soon!
