37 Weeks and Counting

Well, we're in the final stretch. I officially hit 37 weeks, and full-term, on Thursday. I'm feeling good, despite some random contractions over the last few weeks. At my last doctor's appointment I was 2 cm dilated, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Looking forward to meeting her soon!

19 Week Baby Belly

Next week I'll be 5 months pregnant, and I realize, this is the first belly picture I've taken! (I guess it's a bit different the second time around). On Thursday we have our appointment to find out the sex. Sophie is hoping for a little brother. We'll see what we can do about that.... 

Due date belly!

So, today is the official due date, but it doesn't look like she'll be arriving on time. We went to the doctor today and I'm still 1 cm dilated, but her head is low, so that’s a good sign.

39 Week Belly

Just days to go! My due date is on Wednesday, February 24th... but who knows if she'll be on time. I started to feel the first contractions yesterday and things are definitely shifting.

37 Week Belly

Yes, my belly button is almost gone... but still hanging on!

35 Week Belly

Here I am in the middle of my 35th week. Still feeling good, but my lower back is really starting to bother me. I also started weekly doctor's visits this week. Everything looks good - no dilating yet. We also had our last birthing class on Saturday. Four weeks out and I think we're pretty ready! (gulp).

32 Week Belly

Here I am at 32 weeks. Still feeling great - but slowing down a bit. All the stairs in the house are starting to take their toll... "do I really need something from upstairs?"

Christmas in Virginia - 30 week belly

We spent Christmas this year down in Virginia.


Becky got us a book of classic children's stories - can't wait to start reading them!

29 Week Belly

Here I am at the end of my 29th week. All dressed up for a holiday party - but alas, about an hour after this picture was taken we were in a car accident and I spent the next 4 hours in the hospital hooked up to a fetal monitor. Fortunately all is well with us and the baby, just a precaution. We heard her moving around and even heard a few minutes of hickups.
