One Month Check-up

Hard to believe that it's been a month already! Lauren had her check-up this week and weighs in at 9 lbs, 12.5 ozs, and is 20 inches long. Big sis Sophie weighs in at 36 lbs and is 37 inches tall. Both are doing well and growing growing growing!

Two Year Check-up

Sophie had her two year check-up yesterday. The doctor also confirmed that her bronchiolitis is completely gone, thank goodness. She's a healthy little girl. 29 lbs, 34 3/4 inches tall. Here are a few pictures that her teacher took over the last month. She definitely a happy girl at school!

18 Month Check-up

It's hard to believe Sophie is a year-and-a-half old! We took her to her 18th month check up recently and she weighs 28 lbs and is 32.5 inches tall. That puts her in the 75th percentile for height and the 95th for weight (and over 100 for head circumference - must be that big brain!).

15 Month Check-up

We took Sophie in for her 15 month check-up last week. She's doing great - 31.24 inches tall, 25lbs 8ozs. She's still in the 75th percentile for height and weight.

I'm also happy to report that she's added some words to her repertoire. We've now got "shoe," "uh-oh" (which she says a lot), "mommy," "mama" and "baby." "Yuck" is still a favorite.

She's also got about 12 teeth in that little mouth.

We also need to keep our eye on the kiddo. This weekend when my back was turned she pulled a step stool out, dragged it over to the stove, and made herself at home. Just look at the smile on her face. She's so proud. I think we're in trouble...

One Year Check-up

Sophie had her one year doctors appointment today. She's a very happy, healthy little girl (which we already knew!). She weighs in at 22lbs 11ozs and is 29 3/4'' tall. Pictures from her actual birthday to come (as soon as I find the adaptor cord to our camera).

9 Month Check-up

On Friday Soph had her 9 month doctor's visit. We found out she weighs 20.14 lbs, which still puts her in the 90% area for weight. We were also given the go ahead to try and introduce some soy back into her diet to see if she can tolerate it now. Fingers crossed she's outgrown her colitis issues.

Later that night she spend some quality time reading with dad...

6 Month Check-up

This morning we had Sophie's 6-month check-up. She is now weighing in at 19.5 lbs, which still puts her in the 95% for weight, and 26.5 inches long, also still in the 75% for height. She's a healthy, happy little girl!

Four Month Check-up

This morning Sophie had her 4 week check-up. She got her second round of immunizations and was not happy about it. She was also weighed and measured. A whopping 16lbs 6ozs, which puts her in the 95% for weight, and 25 1/8 inches long, which puts her in the 75% for height.

Two Month Update

This weekend we celebrated Sophie's two month birthday and Dave running a personal best in the Broad Street Run! We also went to the Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival where we ate our way up Walnut Street and then lazed in the park.


Sophie also had her two month check-up today where we found out she's 12lbs 12ozs and 22 7/8 inches long. She's 75% in height, weight and head circumference. She also got her first round of shots, which she did NOT enjoy. Poor little girl.

7 Weeks Old!

Sophie is 7 weeks today! She had another check-up and is 11 lbs 11 ozs!

One Week Birthday!

Today marks Sophie's one week birthday! We took her to the pediatrician this morning and she was back up to her birth weight (and a little past it) at 7lbs 7ozs. On Friday she was 6lbs 11ozs so she's been packing on the weight over the past few days. She has quite the appetite so we weren't surprised.
