Hiking in Wissahickon

We took Sophie out for her first hike on Sunday. The weather was gorgeous here this weekend and we thought it was about time to take her to one of our favorite spots. She slept through most of it, but I think she enjoyed it all the same…

Two weeks today!

In an effort to make Sophie and Benson great friends Dave tried to bring them closer. Benson isn't quite there yet... and Sophie doesn't seem to notice him either way. We're sure they'll be friends soon enough...

Hiccups

Sophie gets the hiccups about once a day, sometimes more. It’s pretty cute, so I tried to capture it. Not to worry – after this video and I picked her up before she started crying. I don’t think she thinks they’re as cute as we do.

One Week Birthday!

Today marks Sophie's one week birthday! We took her to the pediatrician this morning and she was back up to her birth weight (and a little past it) at 7lbs 7ozs. On Friday she was 6lbs 11ozs so she's been packing on the weight over the past few days. She has quite the appetite so we weren't surprised.

Sophia Elizabeth Sharp has arrived!

Sophia Elizabeth was born on March 2, 2010 at 9:25am. She weighed 7lbs 5oz.
